Would Give a Review IF I had been accommodated

I planned to attend the Andrea Bocelli Concert at the Smoothie King Arena on Saturday, February 11, 2023. I drove into town (I live 30 miles north of the city), picked up the other 3 people on the way and proceeded to the Arena. We paid $40 to park at the Ceasars Superdome, and those attendants were very friendly and accommodating. Once parked, we slowly walked to the Arena, as since I am post back surgery I am using a cane. (I've also had both hips and both knees replaced.) Furthermore, one of the other attendees is still weaker than normal having battled cancer with a round of chemo. We leisurely took our time going up all the escalators and heading toward section 312, where our seats were located in the 18th row. We stopped along the way to purchase 4 bottles of water ($28) and then continued our journey towards our seats. Upon getting to the right section, we entered and realized that we had to walk up steps that were at least one foot high. I knew at that point it would be a challenge, but waited for others to clear out before trying to go up the steps. I could NOT get up them because they were too steep. I immediately asked the attendant if the ADA seats located there were sold, to which I was told yes but to go to Customer Service 2 sections over at 310. As I was walking up to ask if there were any seats that I could easily get to, I was immediately told NO THIS IS A SOLD OUT SHOW AND WE ARE NOT RELOCATING ANYONE. I said, you mean there's not even a folding chair that I can sit here and listen to the show? THE SAME ANSWER WAS REPEATED. My friends stayed (and the one had an extremely difficult time getting up the stairs herself), and I asked if they could at least get a wheelchair to bring me back down to where we entered the arena so I could walk back to my car, which they accommodated. The attendant with the wheelchair, Chris Harris, was A PHENOMENAL GENTLEMAN, and quicky brought me back to where I could exit the building. Bottom line, I can't tell you if I enjoyed the concert because I wasn't accommodated. More importantly, the demographic of the attendees at that show should have factored in EXTRA ADA ACCOMMODATIONS, as I saw many others with walkers, rollators and in wheelchairs of their own. The Arena Manager will be getting an earful when he returns to town, as I've been advised he's out of town until later this month.
